White Haven, PA March 2021 – The new Visitor Center and Park Office at Hickory Run State Park was awarded LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for sustainable site development and design of this 13,000 square foot building. Features include rain gardens, geothermal heat exchange, dark sky compliant light fixtures, recycled materials, high functioning thermal envelope, solar reflective roof, and energy efficient LED lighting.
